An Ice Cream Place That is Just Screaming For You to Try It by Andrew Braddy

If you're looking for a place to eat, we have a spot everyone will love called Ice Cream Korner.

People have come far and wide to visit this marvelous place in Iuka, Illinois. This location has attracted so many people that the owners had to expand the parking. Ice Cream Korner is here  on Google Maps.  They are open everyday from 11 am to 7 pm. They do not have an official website, only a Facebook page.

Now onto the ice cream. They have 10 flavors of just ice cream alone, 9 milkshakes, 13 razzles, and 8 sundaes. When you order a large here they give you a large. It's not like a Dairy Queen scoop where they weigh it. The whole ice cream weighs over two pounds, not including the sprinkles or cookie dough. Even the “small” size is bigger than Dairy Queens’ largest blizzard. If that doesn't show how much bang you're getting for your buck, I don't know what will.

Let's take a little break for the more non-ice cream eaters.  They have Mexican food.

Some include food like tacos, burritos, sanchos, quesadillas, and taco salads, all delicious to eat. Compared to Mexican restaurants in the area, it is cheaper and tastier at the Ice Cream Korner. 

Amazingly, they even have burgers. They even have  a deal where you can buy ten of whatever kind you want, whether being cheeseburgers or hamburgers for only thirty bucks. If that doesn't give you the American spirit, then try their amazing mouth watering hotdogs. These are handcrafted into fine buns laced with your choice of the basics, nothing too crazy. This is not New York ice cream stands; it's high-quality midwestern food.

Now onto parking. It's so easy to get what you want. You don't have to get out. They have a drive-through.  If you're not that type, they also have two walkup windows. You can call their phone number and pick up the order.  They also have sheltered seating outside, so you can go under and get a break from the sun. Cell phone service is varied from great to okay.

The other locations around this you might want to visit is Penny's Cafe and possibly the Lincoln site. The “Lincoln site” is an old hotel where Lincoln supposedly stopped in for a night throughout his life. Besides that, there's also Forbes State Park where you can fish, play on the beach, camp, and maybe even boat.

In conclusion, Ice Cream Korner is the place where you want to go. So come on down to Ice Cream Korner, where you can have the best ice cream you may have ever had.
